I am excited to continue my professional development as an articling student at McMillan, having the opportunity to learn from industry leaders.

During my previous four years at McMillan, I assisted with strategic business development projects and lateral recruitment efforts.  Prior to moving to Canada, I completed my bachelor of laws and Spanish law at the University of Aberdeen, during which a highlight was studying at the University of Seville. I obtained my national committee on accreditation (NCA) qualification whilst working full-time at the firm.

Throughout law school, I volunteered at the Citizens Advice Bureau, where I provided pro bono legal services and advice on day-to-day issues, including court process, intellectual property and employment law. I interned at the Supreme Court of Scotland, with a focus on tax cases. I co-lead the white paper committee for Global Lawyers of Canada, which provides resources for internationally trained lawyers.

In addition to the experiences mentioned above, I have worked in various industries including banking, real estate, architecture, and retail, which will set me up to assist a variety of clients.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, traveling, and exploring on my motorbike.
