Margaret McNee is McMillan’s General Counsel and Chief Risk Officer. She works with practices and departments across the firm, providing guidance on the development of firm policies, and advising on conflicts of interest, compliance, insurance and ethics. She is also a leader of McMillan’s pro bono initiatives.

Prior to serving as General Counsel, Margaret practised corporate and securities law. She is recognized for her exceptional expertise in retail structured products. Margaret also advised on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions, as well as corporate governance and securities registration matters.
