Meena Shanmuganathan is an articling student at McMillan.

During her legal studies, Meena served as a teaching assistant for first-year contracts and as the Co-President of the South Asian Law Students’ Association. Meena spent the summer after her first year completing a Certificate of Public International Law from Bader College in England. She competed in the 2023 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot, where her team placed 2nd in Canada for Best Combined Memorials. In her final year of law school, she also completed an internship at the Parliament of Canada.

Meena holds a JD from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law and an International Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

She worked at McMillan as a summer student prior to returning to the firm as an articling student.
