Meena Shanmuganathan is a summer student at McMillan.
During her legal studies, Meena served as a teaching assistant for first-year contracts law and is currently the Co-President of the South Asian Law Students’ Association. Meena spent the summer after her first year completing a Certificate of Public International Law from Bader College in England. She continued to develop her knowledge in international law by participating in the 2023 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, where her team placed 2nd and 5th in Canada for Best Combined Memorials and oral rounds respectively.
Meena will be returning to the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law to complete her final year in the JD English Common Law Program. She holds an International Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
