Meghna Jain

Meghna Jain is excited to return to McMillan as an articling student after a great summer with the firm.

She pursued a dual degree B.A. LL.B. and J.D. through a partnership between the University of Calgary and a university in India, gaining a unique perspective on law across multiple common law jurisdictions.

During her studies in India, Meghna engaged with a startup mediation initiative, helping to make conflict management and mediation more accessible to the public. She earned certification as a mediator and also volunteered with the Residence Appeal Board at the University of Calgary. Her commitment to supporting innovation led her to assist various startups with their legal needs, both in Canada and abroad.

Outside of work, Meghna enjoys exploring new places and discovering hidden gems, whether it’s a cozy restaurant with a unique menu or a breathtaking landscape. She also has a passion for adventure and finds joy in activities like rock climbing and scuba diving, always eager for the next exciting experience.
