Michael Christ is a summer student at McMillan after completing his second year of the JD program at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law.
During his legal studies, Michael is an active volunteer within his legal community. He previously served as a First-Year Representative for the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (FACL). More recently, he completed his term as the Vice President of Public Relations of FACL. He also sits on the FACL Western Student Advisory Committee in addition to volunteering as a student caseworker for Student Legal Services. Outside of volunteering, he regularly participates in intramurals Innertube Water Polo and Dodgeball at the University of Alberta.
Prior to law school, Michael attended the University of Alberta and obtained a BA in economics with distinction. For a few years following his undergraduate studies, he worked for a non-profit organization that helped youth in and around the Edmonton community develop positive social skills and foster strong relationships.
In his free time, Michael enjoys exploring the local food scene, working out and going on walks. He is also an avid Olympics fan and will always try to watch the events live whenever they are on.
