Michael Christ was a summer student at McMillan and is returning as an articling student.

Michael graduated with distinction from the Juris Doctor program at the University of Alberta (U of A) Faculty of Law. Michael was heavily involved with the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (FACL) Western and U of A Chapters, serving as both a First Year Representative and as Vice President Public Relations. For his dedication to reducing systemic inequalities in law schools across Western Canada, Michael received the Royal Society of Canada Justice Rosalie Silberman Abella Prize. Michael also volunteered with Student Legal Services to provide free legal information and assistance to the low-income community of Edmonton.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the U of A, graduating with distinction. Prior to law school, he worked for a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children and teens in Edmonton experience new opportunities, develop confidence, and hone various life skills.
