I am delighted to be articling with McMillan. Prior to joining the team, I worked as a summer law student at a professional regulatory body where I gained valuable experience in investigation and discipline matters.

I completed my juris doctor at the University of Victoria. During law school, I was actively involved in my legal community, serving as student director of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers BC, administrative director of the Access Pro Bono UVic Law Student Clinic, and president of the UVic Business Law Association. I was also on the editorial board of the UVic Appeal Law Journal. In my final year of law school, I had the privilege of studying abroad for a semester at the University of Hong Kong.

Before law school, I obtained my bachelor of science degree in cognitive systems from the University of British Columbia. I graduated as a dean’s honour list recipient. I also provided client intake services and volunteer training for two years at the Access Pro Bono Society of BC.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and trying new cuisines. In recent years, I have honed in on my passion for writing restaurant reviews, and designing cards for my friends and family.
