Miguel Therrien is a promising bilingual lawyer building a practice in employment and labour relations.
Miguel offers his expertise on employment litigation cases as well as issues relating to labour standards and employment contract termination. He also represents clients before Québec’s Tribunal administratif du travail. Where litigation is not warranted or ideal, he advises on alternative dispute resolution options.
Miguel also assists the firm’s mergers and acquisitions teams for the employment component of commercial transactions. Before pursuing a career in law, he worked in government relations.
Prior to joining McMillan, Miguel summered and articled with another national law firm, where he completed a secondment with WSP Canada as a summer student. During law school, he completed a student clerkship with the Court of Québec, Civil Division and was an executive editor for the McGill Law Journal.
