Having completed my second year at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, I am very excited to join the McMillan team and begin my legal career as a 2022 summer student.

At the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, I have enjoyed and contributed to an incredibly dynamic community. I have completed a pro bono students Canada placement at METRAC, working on family law and immigration issues. I was also an Articles Editor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law Review.

I spent the past summer working at the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic, where I worked on the criminalization of women project. Having had the wonderful opportunity to assist on legal research and writing with intervenor factums and working directly with clients who have survived gendered violence – helping them navigate the criminal justice system. Gaining experience with written and oral advocacy through competitive mooting has also been a highlight of my time in law school thus far – winning the first-place team at the Canadian national rounds for the Jessup Moot Competition and qualifying for International Rounds.

Prior to law school, I attained an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Toronto. During my undergraduate studies, I worked in community organizations, helping with programming for newcomers to Canada, and completing a research project on sexual and gender-based violence.

In my free time, I enjoy pottery, playing board games, watching reality tv, and exploring Toronto restaurants and coffee shops.
