Rish Handa maintains a dynamic business law practice assisting established and emerging companies in the private equity and technology industries. Experienced in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance, Rish also has significant expertise in privacy law, data protection and intellectual property law.

In addition to advising technology clients on intellectual property licensing arrangements as well as commercialization and funding arrangements, Rish provides guidance on privacy, cybersecurity, anti-spam compliance, and patent / copyright matters. With a background in computer science, Rish understands highly technical concepts, which is a benefit to his clients in various technology-based industries, such as the video game and smartphone industries.

Rish’s corporate / commercial practice involves large- and mid-cap acquisitions and divestitures, shareholder arrangements and financings. Experienced in cross-border transactions involving US parties, Rish also advises on a variety of day-to-day commercial matters, including sales and distribution arrangements, and service agreements.
