I am very excited to be working as an articling student at McMillan. I am gaining a broad range of experience in various practice areas, while getting involved in the team-oriented culture of the firm.
I recently completed my juris doctor at the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Law where I participated in a number of volunteer activities. I served as a student caseworker for Student Legal Services, was the representative of my class in the Business Law Association, participated on the faculty rugby team, and participated in a number of negotiation competitions. I also worked for the non-profit Boys and Girls Clubs of Calgary, helping develop new youth programs, and participating in community outreach.
Prior to law school, I earned a bachelor of arts in English literature from Simon Fraser University where I also received a Varsity Football Scholarship as a member of the Simon Fraser University football team. In addition, I gave back to my community by volunteering for Parkgate Community Centre, and working for the Boys and Girls Clubs of South Coast BC.
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, camping, snowboarding, weightlifting and travelling. In addition to an active lifestyle, I also enjoy spending quality time with family and friends.
