Victoria Kolt is excited to return to McMillan as an articling student after a great summer with the firm.
Victoria completed her law degree at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC. She was a member of the Mental Health Club, Law 2.0 Club, and Oral Advocacy Club. In her third and final year of law school, Victoria went on exchange to France and gained valuable knowledge in international business law in areas such as international trade, international contract, and international cyber law.
Victoria completed her Bachelor of Arts in Professional Communication from Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC and was top of her class. Before law school, she worked in the hospitality industry, at the BC Ministry of Attorney General, and as an international independent business consultant.
Victoria has a strong sense of curiosity which motivated her to travel to 50 countries where she has lived, volunteered, and worked. When she travels, she enjoys learning about the local produce, spices, and dining customs of each country. Victoria often takes cooking classes while abroad to fulfill her culinary curiosity. She then brings the ingredients (and sometimes cookware) back home so she can prepare meals for her friends and family so they too can share in the experience.
