I have recently completed my second year at the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law, and I am delighted to be joining McMillan as a summer student.

My experience at the University of Windsor has allowed me to contribute to the academic life of the law school as a Research Assistant, where I conducted research for and edited forthcoming publications on various topics in intellectual property law.

I have also had the opportunity to be actively involved in community advocacy initiatives as a caseworker at the Legal Assistance of Windsor (“LAW”). During my placement at the legal clinic, I became particularly passionate about human rights issues in eviction files. My interest in this practice area led me to organize and deliver a public legal education seminar on Human Rights Advocacy at the Landlord & Tenant Board to community agencies directly involved with clients vulnerable to homelessness.

Prior to law school, I completed a Bachelors of Arts at McGill University, specializing in International Development Studies, Art History & Management. While studying at McGill, I was able to diversify my interests through volunteer opportunities available within the Ismaili community.

In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, exploring local restaurants, and spending time with family & friends. I also enjoy participating in competitive activities including swimming and dancing.
