Peter Major appointed Queen’s Counsel
Peter Major has been recognized with the appointment of Queen’s Counsel by the province of Alberta for his outstanding contributions to legal and public life.
Attorney General Jonathan Denis, Q.C., made the announcement on December 31, 2013. 114 lawyers in Alberta will be admitted as Queen’s Counsel. Both public and private sector lawyers who have practiced in communities across the province make up the recipients.
