As National Manager of Research and Library Services, Eve Leung leads the operation of the firm’s libraries and shared resources. Her role includes ongoing enhancement of efficiencies and the promotion of best practices as they relate to delivering information services and database management. The department conducts comprehensive legal and business research for the firm’s lawyers, often within tight timelines. It also advises them of significant developments relating to their work with clients through regular updates. The department manages access to print and electronic resources that support McMillan’s many practice areas and provides training on legal research to summer and articling students.

Prior to joining McMillan, Eve was a Research Librarian at the Ontario Legislative Assembly where she supported the work of members of the provincial parliament, their staff, and staff of the Legislative Assembly by delivering confidential, non-partisan information services. Earlier in her career, as a Law Librarian at the Alberta Court of Appeal/Queen’s Bench Library, Eve provided research services to justices and their support staff.
