After having worked at the firm last summer, Laura Hamdan is excited to return to McMillan as an articling student. She is eager to keep on learning from talented lawyers and mentors, and to continue to develop her legal skills.
Laura recently graduated with a BCL and a JD from McGill University. During her legal studies, she had the opportunity to be a student clerk at the Tribunal Administratif du Québec and to participate in the Adam F. Fanaki Competition Law Moot, where Laura developed a keen interest for competition law. Laura also volunteered at the Center for Research-Actions on Race Relations and at the Legal Information Clinic at McGill.
Before studying law, Laura completed a bachelor of arts in international development studies at McGill and obtained a master in international relations from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She also interned at a UN agency in Lebanon, supporting the complex response to the refugee crisis in the country.
In Laura’s spare time, she likes to do some embroider, read, and watch all the games of her favorite soccer team.
