Having completed my second year at the Queen’s University Faculty of Law, I am enthusiastic about joining the McMillan team as a summer student!

At Queen’s Law, I made it one of my top priorities to immerse myself in the community. During the summer between my first and second year, I worked for the Queen’s Legal Aid clinic providing legal services to low-income residents of Kingston, Napanee and surrounding areas, and to Queen’s University students. I returned that fall to broaden my experience through the Clinical Litigation Practice course and the Student Leadership course. Additionally, I joined the Queen’s Chapter of the Black Law Students’ Association of Canada, where I am currently the finance director.

Prior to law school, I worked as a legal assistant at a boutique real estate law firm in Toronto, primarily in the pre-construction condominium department. Concurrently, I completed my undergraduate degree in Communication Studies & Business at York University, worked as a senior research assistant to my department’s Chair, and was an editor for the Impression Academic Journal.

In my free time, I enjoy biking, running, photography, and reading. I’ve also run the Scotiabank Half Marathon, and last summer, I swam across a small lake.
