I am thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to the excellent work that the McMillan team is known for this summer as a temporary articled student.

While obtaining my J.D. at the University of Calgary, I have been involved with activities that have allowed me to help foster community. Throughout my second year I worked as a Student Caseworker at Student Legal Assistance providing legal information to low-income members of the community. I am proud to say I helped win several cases for my clients.

I also serve as an executive of the U of C Law Ambassadors, where we ensure new and prospective law students feel welcomed at the law school. In March 2022, I participated in the Alberta Court of Appeals Moot Competition in the constitutional law division.

Prior to law school, I completed a Bachelor of Environment (with distinction) with a major in Resource and Environmental Management at Simon Fraser University. Throughout my degree, I obtained a wide variety of skills working as a student research assistant studying aquaculture in Hong Kong and as an elected student senator.

Outside of school and work you can usually find me fishing in my canoe, going for bike rides, or hitting the slopes in the winter.
