Mercedes-Benz Canada Inc. completes sale of two dealerships

On December 1, 2015, Mercedes-Benz Canada Inc. (Mercedes) completed an asset sale of two of its corporately owned dealerships located in Newmarket, Ontario and Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec. The Newmarket dealership was purchased by a subsidiary of SF Auto Group Ltd. and the West Island dealership was purchased by a subsidiary of the Dilawri Group of Companies.

McMillan LLP represented Mercedes for both transactions, with a team led by Bruce Chapple. The Newmarket team assisting Mercedes included Hilary Hennick (corporate), David Ross, May Villegas (real estate) and Lyndsay Wasser (employment).

The Dollard-des-Ormeaux team assisting Mercedes included Enda Wong (corporate), Stephanie Hamelin and Pierre-Christian Collins Hoffman (real estate) and Shari Munk-Manel (employment).
