I am proud to be articling with McMillan. Having gained such valuable experience as a summer student with the firm in 2019, I continue to benefit from thorough training, practical experience in a variety of practice areas and dedicated mentorship.

While earning my juris doctor from Thompson Rivers University (“TRU“), I served as the first-year representative for TRU’s Society of Law Students, and managing editor of the Canadian Journal of Comparative and Contemporary Law. I received numerous dean’s course prizes and was awarded the Alvin & Lydia Grunert Undergraduate Scholarship for having the highest GPA in the Faculty of Law in my second year. In my third year, I attended an international business law exchange program in Germany.

Prior to law school, I received a bachelor of arts, majoring in international relations, from the University of British Columbia (“UBC“). During this time, I was the president of the UBC Pre-Law Society and volunteered with Special Olympics BC and the Down Syndrome Research Foundation. I also spent a few summers working at a personal injury law firm in Vancouver.

Outside of work, I enjoy volunteering, travelling, and attending concerts.
